Immersion Assembly

Coming in to the Immersion Assembly, I was so excited because my mum was in team 2. Finally it was my mum's turn. It was sometimes embarrassing because she was dancing hard out.
“Now it’s time for team 3 “Mr Burt announced in a mysterious voice. As they enter the stage, they brought on an enormous beaker. They threw a multitude of ingredients into a beaker and out exploded Miss Walters, wearing a soap costume and a pink wig that looked like foam. Miss Lavakula did a rap called baby baby wash your hands. Miss Walters wore a wig that looked like bubbles.
At the end we went down back to class and that was the end of the immersion assembly.

Going to Hop.

In the holidays I went to see Hop at the movies. I went with my cousins and my aunty and uncle. It was funny at the start. It was about a chick wanting to become the Easter bunny even though he wasn’t a rabbit. The easter bunny’s son, E.B. didn’t want to be the Easter bunny because he thought he should be a drummer He had a talent at drumming. He left his home Easter Island because his dad stressed him to be the Easter bunny too much. When his dad found out, he sent the Pink Barrets (they are 3 girl spies.) E.B. went to Hollywood and found an unemployed man called Mike. Mike had a appointment for a gaming center .But back at Easter island the second boss was a chick and he was so angry he explained a plan to the chicks and said, ”We will trap the Easter bunny.” The little Easter bunny came back and saved the day with his friend Mike. So they got presented, both of them, to be co-Easter Bunnies. It ended.
Unfortunately my cousin didn't sleep over again. so I was so sad I asked my dad if I could sleep over,he said no so I went home and went to sleep.

Skatelands

Filled with excitement I quickly went onto the rink and started rollerblading with my friends. Suddenly I lost balance so I quickly clung on to my friend, but I fell down, bringing my friend down with me. It was really funny but painful for my friend and me.

When the man said that there was going to be a limbo game I was very excited so I went and lined up to wait for my turn, hoping I would win the competition again like last year at Riverside. The bar got lower and lower as our turns went. There were eliminations as time went on. It got to the final and I was still in. Some of my friends were too but I was last so it gave me a big advantage. My friends didn't make it so if I made it I would win. My heart was beating fast and sweat was coming down my face like a stream. I quickly went and had my turn. I just made it! That made my winning streak 2 years in a row!

School Picnic

Coming to school with excitment, I jumped out of the car. I ran to the hall hoping that we would go straight away. But no we didn’t because Mr. Burt was giving us some information about the rules. After that we went off to the Pt England reserve (it’s a beach.)

When we got there, Mr. Burt told us the places we were allowed to play in. I went to look for shrimps and crabs down in the beach. My friends Rauf, Rocky and Isara and I had morning tea. Then we went back to the beach but this time we started making clay sculptures. When we saw the kids swimming we went to eat our lunch because we didn’t bring our togs. I was playing with my new beyblade.

The whole time I was talking finally it was over and we went back to our class room to get our bags. And then we went home.

Swimarama

On the first day of the year 5 and 6 camp at Pt England School we went to Swimarama. Did you know I think that I was the most excited out of the everybody? A teacher called people to compete in races against other kids in our school. A while later my team the Responsible Rockers went on the hydro slide.We went back to school.

Time to meet my teacher

Greetings! It’s the 22nd of February 2011. It’s a very special day because my parents and whanau are going to meet my teacher. My teacher is Ms Squires. I’m very excited about all the neat things we’re going to doing. Watch this space! 2011 here we come!
